Why I’m Finally Telling These Stories

I’m not writing to impress anyone or to win an argument. I’m writing because these things are true: God has spoken, warned, rescued, and shown up across my whole life — and someone needs to hear it.

This is a place for remembering.

I’m going to tell you the truth about my life with God — plainly, and without shrinking it down to fit what sounds reasonable.

These aren’t teaching pieces. They’re true accounts of God’s presence, His protection, His correction, and His kindness across every season I’ve lived. Some of what happened was gentle. Some of it was hard. Some of it took me years to understand. All of it points back to a God who was already at work long before I noticed Him.

He has spoken to me. He has warned me before danger. He has met me in a dream and told me my own name. He has pulled me out of pits I dug myself. For a long time I explained those things away, or softened them so no one would think me strange. I’m done doing that. What happened, happened — and God gets the credit at full size.

This blog is where I say so. Not to impress anyone, not to win an argument, not to build a platform — but to bear witness to what God has done, and to help you recognize His hand in your own life. What I write is supernatural in the plain meaning of the word: God moving in ways I can’t fully explain. It never leaves the ground of Scripture, and it never leaves the ground of sanity. Here’s what I mean by that.

I write under a pen name so I can tell the truth freely and protect the people who appear in these stories. The name is changed. The accounts are not.

if you’re learning to trust Him before you have all the answers —
you’re in the right place.

We’ll tell the truth here. We’ll give God the glory He is actually due. And we’ll watch His goodness unfold, one true story at a time.
